Guided Colorado Expeditions
Explore and discover the majestic mountain wilderness of the Colorado Rocky Mountains
Oh, Colorado! Widely-known throughout the world as an adventurer’s dream, the Rocky Mountains of Colorado do not disappoint. Formed by the poweful tectinoc forces of the Laramide Orogeny (mountain-building process), the lofty peaks of the Rocky Mountains reach over 14,000ft, and it is, on average, the highest mountain range in the Lower 48 (sorry Sierras!).
Our adventures in Colorado are centered in the San Juan mountain range in the southwestern part of the state. The San Juan are home to myriad of cascading waterfalls, famous mining-turned-ski towns, vivid colors, clear alpine lakes, fields of wildflowers, galcial cirques, and outstanding scenery and solitude.
