Retreats are built around purpose — connection, restoration, strategy, growth.
The food should support that purpose, not distract from it.
We partner with retreat hosts to create chef-driven dining experiences that feel grounded, nourishing, and deeply connected to the place. Whether you are leading a yoga retreat in the mountains, hosting a women’s or men’s gathering, or organizing a corporate leadership weekend, we handle the culinary experience from arrival to closing meal.
You focus on guiding your group.
We ensure they are beautifully nourished every step of the way.
Every retreat carries a different energy. Some are restorative and quiet. Others are dynamic and discussion-driven. Many are deeply personal.
We begin with a conversation about your retreat’s goals, schedule, and audience. From there, we craft seasonal menus inspired by the culinary traditions of the desert and mountains — thoughtful, regionally rooted cuisine that feels meaningful rather than generic.
Menus are fully customized around dietary needs, program timing, and the tone you want the meals to carry. Whether that means vibrant, plant-forward breakfasts, grounding multi-course dinners, or relaxed communal lunches, everything is designed to support the flow of your retreat.
This is not bulk catering.
It is intentional, chef-led dining tailored to your gathering.
Retreat leaders already carry enough responsibility — logistics, facilitation, timing, guest care.
We remove the weight of food planning entirely.
From menu design and sourcing to on-site preparation and cleanup, our team manages the culinary arc of your retreat with clarity and professionalism. Meals are served on time, paced thoughtfully, and executed with the same comfortably refined expertise that defines all of our work.
There is no scrambling in the kitchen. No stress about dietary accommodations. No last-minute coordination.
Just seamless support behind the scenes.
Colorado offers a powerful backdrop for transformation. We believe the food should reflect that landscape.
Our menus draw inspiration from indigenous and pioneer culinary traditions of the desert and mountains, interpreted with a modern sensibility. Seasonal ingredients and regional influence bring authenticity to the table, allowing your guests to feel more deeply connected to where they are.
For retreats that incorporate outdoor programming, we can also weave in guided elements that explore the surrounding landscape, adding educational depth and a sense of place that enhances the overall experience.
Whether your ceremony is at a Rocky Mountain overlook, a canyon edge, a private estate, or a backcountry meadow, we handle all sourcing, preparation, setup, and service. You do not lift a finger.
We begin with a planning consultation to understand your retreat schedule, group size, location, and culinary goals.
From there, we design a customized meal plan that aligns with your programming. On-site, we manage preparation, service, timing, and cleanup so your team can remain fully present with your guests.
Every detail is handled thoughtfully and professionally.
The best retreats are remembered not just for the sessions or scenery, but for how they felt.
When meals are intentional, seasonal, and beautifully executed, they become part of the transformation — moments of pause, connection, and shared experience.
If you’re planning a retreat in Colorado and want dining that reflects the depth and intention of your gathering, we would be honored to collaborate with you.

I cannot recommend Billy and his team enough. They provided private chef services for our wedding reception of 13 people and were incredible. The menu they put together was so creative and locally/ seasonally inspired. Not only was everything delicious, they handled every aspect of the dinner so that we did not have to worry about a thing.

Billy is incredible! Ben is beyond awesome! Thank you for making our engagement so memorable and special!
We were provided a unique day-long experience with an intimate evening where I proposed to my, now, fiancé!
Our day started with a guided hike with the fantastic Ben. Before embarking on our hike we had a picnic with a view that can't be beat, in the Grand Canyon's less-traveled East side of the South Rim. The food for our lovely picnic was beyond delicious and a perfect amount to not feel like the hike to come was a punishment. We were also provided great trail-appropriate snacks along the way!
Upon arrival to the site of our private dinner, the sun began to set and paint the sky with breathtaking colors. Naturally, photos had to be taken. It was at this time that I had proposed and the moment was well-captured and pinned in memory by Billy's perfectly timed cork-pop. An intimate tent setup hosted us for our amazing multi-course meal full of fun flavors and delectable bites, perfect to celebrate being newly engaged!
We will undoubtedly recommend Canyons and Chefs for any occasion! Family, friends, lovers, or coworkers alike.
