POINT OF ORIGIN
GEOLOGIC ADVENTURER SKILL
The Undergraduate geologist adventurer is capable of hiking 2-6 miles daily. Trails are generally maintained and have 1500 feet or less of change in elevation. Your backpack will weigh between 20-35 lbs. Undergraduate time traveling hikers must be healthy and relatively fit. Previous camping experience is a good idea, but not required.
Create memories amidst incredible scenery, cuisine, and comfort
Set seasonally in Sedona, Flagstaff, Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, or Phoenix/Tucson, this is simply an incredible experience. Couples and/or small, private, adults-only parties are treated to a day of extraordinary wilderness adventure (hiking, mountain biking, paddling), then to a fabulous michelin star-worthy dinner prepared in our private wilderness sites by acclaimed chefs.
Enjoy Luxury camp accommodations including private showers, bathroom, and well-appointed and furnished yurt-style tents. Overnight accommodation and outstanding breakfast service is included
Now this is camping! Many meals will consist of multi-course, freshly-prepared, restaurant quality meals with wine/drink pairings served on clothed tables. Accommodations are very comfortable with large tents, raised cots/beds, solar showers, and private bathrooms.
While hikers will pass through areas popular with tourists, they will spend most of the time in areas specially selected to be off the beaten path. There will be practically no wait time or crowds anywhere past the trail-heads. Overnighting is private and remote.
Our Couples Luxury Single-Day Experience begins in Sedona, AZ (Seasonally Variable Start/End Locations). Your private shuttle will whisk you to one of Sedona’s majestic hiking trails, with Chef’s bites and beverages served on the way. Your guide will treat you to an outstanding hiking adventure through Sedona’s spectacular red rock wilderness, and Chef will prepare an incredible, multi-course trailside picnic lunch overlooking this incredible expanse of cliff, sky, and rock.
Your private shuttle will then take you to our fabulous wilderness camp, where you will have access to private showers, bathroom, and luxurious yurt-style tent. When you are ready, Chef will prepare a multi-course (5-7) dinner utilizing our mobile kitchen and cooking over the fire. Wine pairings are included. Guests are invited to stay overnight.
